![]() Cytoflow has developed a new compact, elegant flow cytometer. I researched the basics of flow cytometry: a beam of laser light (often blue) is directed onto a stream of cells suspended in fluid. As the cells pass through the laser, different parts of the cell absorb light and then emit a specific color of light depending on the type of fluorochrome. Some common fluorescent markers are yellow, green, and red. The logo symbolically illustrates this process, and aims for a creative / scientific look. Comments are closed.
