I play classical guitar, and our group of guitarists was wanting a Tshirt. As musicians, of course the Ts had to be black! In this design I aimed for an overall feeling of classical music, and since we usually refer to ourselves as GoG (for Gathering of Guitars), the "o" in GoG became the guitar's rosette and soundhole.
I have completed many other projects as well - will share them as I find time. And, this entire website is due for an update and overhaul...this year, hopefully!
Cytoflow has developed a new compact, elegant flow cytometer. I researched the basics of flow cytometry: a beam of laser light (often blue) is directed onto a stream of cells suspended in fluid. As the cells pass through the laser, different parts of the cell absorb light and then emit a specific color of light depending on the type of fluorochrome. Some common fluorescent markers are yellow, green, and red. The logo symbolically illustrates this process, and aims for a creative / scientific look.

My chic NYC sister wanted a wedding invite which was "simple and "modern". When I attended their wedding, held in a sweeping loft space with white orchids and grey walls, I felt that the square invite with its debossed orchid had announced the occasion perfectly. Red is the traditional color of Chinese weddings, so we added a red vellum insert.
